How do I get the tickets when ordering in the online shop?

After completing the order, you will receive a confirmation of receipt and a booking confirmation with a QR code by e-mail. This QR code is your ticket! Simply go through the ticket turnstile with the QR code in printed form or directly from your mobile phone. Please note: Our devices are not able to read the QR code when your phone is on dark mode.

Exception is the Salzkammergut summit ticket! Since this is a special ticket for several locations, it is necessary to redeem the QR code received once in a valid ticket at the cashier.

If you are still in possession of a starjack keycard, you can recharge it via the online shop. To do this, enter the 23-digit keycard number, which you find on the back of your keycard (starting with 01-), and your keycard will be topped up with the selected product.

If you buy a new keycard, it will be sent to you by mail. Please note the postal route of 2-4 business days within Austria, Europe-wide it varies a little and takes between 4-7 business days. Since the keycards are sent individually, they can arrive on different days. A fee of € 5.90 will be charged for sending the keycard.

How quickly will the card be sent?

The keycard is shipped from Austria on every business day (except holidays). The delivery within Austria takes between 2-4 business days, Europe-wide it varies a bit and takes between 4-7 business days. Since the keycards are shipped individually, they can arrive on different days. A fee of € 5.90 will be charged for sending the keycard.

Family bonus: Free tickets for children are not available in the onlineshop (only at the box office)

Accepted Answer

Free tickets for children (family bonus) are not available in the onlineshop due to the verification requirement and can only be issued on site at the ticket office!

When purchasing a ticket for the two oldest children and at least one parent, the 3rd and each additional child will receive a free ticket (D.O.B 2009 - 2018).

The free ticket for the 3rd child will be handed out upon presentation of the already purchased tickets (e-mail confirmation) and the family proof at one of the cash desks on site.

Will I receive a booking confirmation for my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes, immediately after completing your order, you will receive confirmation of receipt of your order by e-mail. A few minutes later, you will receive a second e-mail with the booking confirmation (confirmation that the ticket has been loaded onto your keycard or eTicket with QR code).

If you have not yet received your keycard by post or have forgotten it, you can show your booking confirmation (authorization number of the ticket) at the ticket office on site and receive a replacement ticket (keycard deposit € 2.00)

Can the validity of a ticket be changed later?

The validity of a purchased ticket can not be changed after the order. The ticket is valid for the selected period in each case.

If the ticket was booked for the wrong period, unused and non-discounted tickets can be canceled under special conditions (also see “Can an ordered ticket be canceled?)

Can an ordered ticket be canceled?

Accepted Answer

In general, online ticket purchases cannot be rebooked or canceled. Tickets that are discounted in online sales can no longer be canceled.

For a chargeback of the amount of money to the credit card or bank accounts, starjack will charge a cost of € 25 per sales transaction without exception. Important: Only tickets that have not yet been used or collected from the machine / checkout can be returned!

Can an ordered keycard be canceled?

Accepted Answer

No, because the keycard is personalized with your personal data and therefore not cancelable. There is no right to a refund of the keycard costs.

The keycard can also be topped up with many other tickets from different mountainous regions via starjack.at.

Question 9

What should I do if I receive an error message on site?

Accepted Answer

Please contact the responsible staff on site and explain your problem. Show your booking confirmation, which you received by e-mail, at the ticket office – based on the authorization number of the ticket you should receive a free replacement ticket (keycard deposit € 2.00) for the booked day.
